Predominately Mr: AQHA World Champion

Pueblo's Dam by Sonnys Top Gun

|
A born champion! Before leaving the US as a youngster, Pueblo won multiple futurities. His pedigree is packed with World AQHA and APHA Champions on both sides, all the way down the line, and it shows. This beautiful, balanced Paint stallion has pure Quarter Horse bloodlines. He is intelligent, with a gorgeous head, kind eye, long neck, and unique frame overo colouring. "Pueblo" has the strong, muscular body type and the (ultra) laid-back disposition of the Paints and Quarter Horses that makes these breeds so popular in the US.
Given his size and build, Pueblo will cross well with most breeds:
- Thoroughbred or Warmblood mares should produce a leggy coloured horse with a pretty head, bigger hip, stronger back, deeper heart girth and a more relaxed, willing temperament.
- Pony mares should produce a showy, well-conformed, athletic junior jumper.
- Quarter Horse mares should the ultimate, easy-moving pleasure horse to suit adult or junior riders.
Offspring from Jockey Club-registered Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse and Paint Horse mares will be eligible for registration with the American Paint Horse Association as well as local horse registries.
Pueblo's distinctive markings, brought about by the frame overo gene, are believed to be exclusive to horses of North American ancestry: You won't readily find another registered Paint stallion with these colour genetics anywhere on the African Continent at this state There is a 50%-75% chance that his foals out of solid mares will have his type of markings. We should have a better idea of his coloured-foal ratio, after his first breeding season.
Pueblo is, genetically, pure Quarter Horse. His sire is AQHA-registered, and the great grandsire on his dam's side was a crop-out Paint from AQHA parents.
