Monet's Impressive Art, "Mona" |
Another stunning example of the successful cross of western-type
horses with TBs. "Mona" is bred to do it all.
But with her hunt seat body type, she should excel in jumping
and English. She will be an excellent cross with our homozygous
stallion, DaVinci's DeLight. In addition, the breeding
of these two tobianos could result in a homozygous-for-tobiano
foal – which would have the ability to produce 99% colored
offspring!
Her full brother, 1998, Impressive
Artifacts, did well in the ring when he was shown in
his younger days. And we're already impressed at the
results of her preliminary training in jumping and dressage.

Impressive Art, 1992 APHA, 16.0h, sorrel tobiano. He was named APHA World Champion Trail, Honor Roll Champion Hunter Hack, Trail & Western Pleasure. Impressive Art was also Top Ten at the World Show in Jumping, amidst tough competition. His offspring started showing with success from 2005, with the list of stand-alone records at both national and world Paint Horse and Pinto Horse shows growing longer by the day, placing among the top in hunt-seat categories. Among the top performing progeny include Art Attack, the increasingly renowned Artfully Zipped and Artfully Designed.
Impressive Art is the grandson of World Champion Quarter Horse Halter Stallion, Impressive, bred to the own daughter of Sonny Go Lucky. He is backed on his dam’s side by Grand Champion stallions Fleeting Spook and Tinky's Spook on his dam’s side. His dam, Poco Special, has now produced three fials to go to the top Ten at the World Championship Swho, with over 900 performance points. See him on his webpage >>
